Financial Literacy 2025

Every year, Circles holds a financial literacy course to teach Circles members about advanced financial concepts. Participants receive a binder full of worksheets and information that correspond with each week’s topic.

Week 1 was a introduction to the course. We went over the importance of building a support network, keeping records and important documents in an accessible place, and calculating your net worth once a year. During week 2, we discussed what goes into creating a budget, how to build credit, and how to manage your debt. Week 3 was about retirement accounts and investments, while week 4 covered identity fraud, and long-term financial planning.

Our final course meeting was on Tuesday, and we’d like to thank everyone who participated, from Circles members to guest speakers! We won’t hold the course again until next year, but contact us if you’d like to learn more information about the financial resources we can connect you to.
