Out with the Old and In with the New
The Circles of Jackson County website has undergone numerous changes since January thanks to our volunteers and student interns.
Student intern Spencer Davis has worked alongside Rachel Byrd and Dawn Neatherly to provide consistent updates to the website. These changes ensure Circles can be accessed by our members and potential additions to the Circles family. These changes include:
Style consistency throughout our website.
An announcement bar for new Circle Leader and Ally applications.
New and updated webpages.
The “Students” page provides student volunteers and interns an easy portal to apply for Circles positions, including application forms and student responsibilities.
The “Volunteer” page reinvents a past design with updated content on our application process for community volunteers.
The “Who We Are” and “What We Do” pages now display framed images with clear and concise writing.
The “Writing Circle” blog consolidates the former “Current Happenings” page and “Circles Memories” blog to provide recent news within our community and organization.
The “FAQ” page displays common questions with descriptive answers about our services and our mission.
Circles also welcomes Anthony Fowler, student volunteer, and student interns Felicia Calcaterra and Maddie McCoy. Calcaterra has helped manage the Poverty Simulation between Circles of Jackson County and Circles of Cashiers-Glenville. McCoy will manage our website and communications during the summer. Fowler works alongside Circles members to provide media content and film for our future releases. We thank each student who has contributed to our cause.
Circles of Jackson County now has a newsletter for the Spring and Winter quarters. To access this document and other future emails, contact info@circlesofjackson.org for more information.
