Thrifting can be so fun! Thrifting makes it so you can shop but also watch what you spend. Thrifting can help you get what you need, while staying aligned with your financial goals. When you do have specific needs, I would recommend researching different thrift stores in your area to see what types of wares they carry. Furthermore, set out with a plan that keeps you on budget and targets the specific items you need, so you buy only that. When at the thrift stores, carefully inspect the items, make sure they’re functional, and if it is clothing, try it on if you can. Keep in mind that more summer clothes are available in winter and more winter clothes are available in summer, so plan your clothes shopping accordingly. Another tip for thrifting is to make sure you always wash and clean items you bring home.
